forgiving

I came into the library the other day and upon entering,I was knocked off center by the comments of a woman working here that I didn't know at all.I had only brief exchanges with her once while checking out a book.Of course I was floored by it and still am till this day.I have forgiven her and am praying for her as well as the other ladies working here.It is gossip central when you are here and the sad thing is that they don't lower their voices to do it.please pray for them also.gbu

`Forgiving others. So much more important than we know. I never knew how important it was to forgive others until someone had pointed it out.

This what Jesus said regarding forgiveness in Matthew 6:

14; “For if you forgive men their trespasses, (their sins/sins they commited against you), your heavenly Father will also forgive you. (of all our sins),

15 But....IF you do not forgive men their trespasses, (their sins/sins they commited against you), neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

God can not forgive us of our sins if we don't show the same mercy He does, and forgive others. Sometimes it's harder than we can imagine to forgive others. But we must if we truly want to repent and be forgiven of our sins.

Sin separates us from our Loving, Holy Father. Each day as we seek the Father, and ask forgiveness of our sins, let Him know that it is your will to forgive others. Then the Father can begin to heal those hurtful wounds inside you that we all have experienced.

Once God begins to heal that pain, you will find peace and joy. When you think of those things that once brought you sadness and grief, you will now be able to think of them and even talk of them without sadness and grief. God will take that painful and sad emotion from you. God will heal you in your body soul/mind and spirit. He will release you from that pain and sorrow that tormented you so. Jesus sets the captive free!

And in that peace and joy that gives you new life, you too, like the Father will begin to feel Love and Mercy for those who hurt you. Then you will, from your heart, be filled with Mercy that only Christ gives, and you will truly want to forgive and will be released from that burden of pain.

You have heard, hurting people hurt others. Sadly, the cycle of abuse is prevalent today. Some od the most abusive predators today are those who were the victims of yesteryear. They were at one time innocent little boys and girls that satan got ahold of and used for his evil. If we could see all and know all like the Father does, then we might be able to forgive more easily.

Only the Power of Jesus Christ can deliver people from this type pain. Put your foot on the head of the devil and make a stand right now to do those things that you have in your heart to do. For ALL Things Are Possible with God. That is True. Amen and Amen!
