God Chooses His Elect
God Chooses His Elect Being a Christian means that no matter how much a citation of scripture does or does not sit comfortably within your mind, the Word of God IS the authority and we need to understand that our minds are finite and tainted by sin no matter how long we have been a Christian. Therefore, by FAITH we approach the reading of the Scriptures, putting aside society's programming and giving the GLORY to the incomprehensible wisdom of the Creator by not trying to conform His Word to our limited view of how it seems it should be. Approaching the Bible, our authority, by Faith, and conforming to IT and not having it conform to us is what being a Christian means to me.
