Book of Spiritual Guidance I believe it helps to look at various translations to get a better understanding of what is being said in the bible. I have a couple of Parallel Bibles which contain 4 different translations each plus I have the Holman Christian Standard Bible. My Parallel bibles contain the Amplified, King James, Message, New American Standard, New International, New King James, and the New Living Translation. I also have the Chronological Bible which uses the NIV translation. I believe how the written word of God is understood and applied to ones life could really makes a difference.
