Bible translation controversies. Oy!
Bible translation controversies. Oy! I am quite aware of a few of the aspects discussed in the KJV-only vs. multi-translation controversy. There seem to be fairly good arguments on both sides. One fact I am aware of is that the NIV actually took entire verses out of the Bible, and altered others. And on the other end, I heard that Francis Bacon actually had a hand in the creation of the KJV, which brings in some VERY interesting connections to Freemasonry and Rosicrucianism. One can only guess as to their motives in trying to twist scripture.

Also the Hebrew Roots movement is picking up as well. Mike Hoggard is against anything that has to do with having to return to an ancient language to understand the scriptures, which I don't understand.
